I tried to process my Google Adsense earning check at Citibank(I had never used this bank, usually I use other bank), but this bank denying to process my Google Adsense check due to different name in Google payee name and my Social Security Name.

My Google account has the payee name=”Dide Syarif”. However my social security name and the other documents have the name “Dide Syarif Zaelani Dahlan”.

Is it possible to change partial in Google payee name from Dide Syarif (only) to Dide Syarif Zaelani Dahlan (It is my complete name)? If that possible, what the effect for my current earning?

If that possible without reduce my current earning, please change my Google account payee name from “Dide Syarif” to new payee name (my complete name) “Dide Syarif Zaelani Dahlan”.

How to Avoid Smart Pricing

Saturday, February 17th, 2007

The smart pricing system should not only be viewed as a system to protect the interests of AdWord advertisers. It is also a system that indirectly benefits quality AdSense sites in the long term. The smart pricing system could force some AdSense publishers to drop those ‘low quality’ sites. Perhaps with more quality sites, this could boost the advertisers’ confidence to advertise in Google content network. Hence, it will bring more competition for keywords. Eventually, AdSense publishers will benefit from the high paying keywords.

Unfortunately, smart pricing is not just affecting publisher’s earning on one AdSense site, not just applied to that particular website, it affects to the entire AdSense account, and every webpage you have will now earn substantially less per click. The ’smart pricing’ automatically adjusts the cost of an ad click, also if one of your AdSense sites is smart priced, all of your AdSense sites will be affected.

What can AdSense publishers do to avoid being smart priced? (more…)
